This Asian BBQ chicken recipe gives a spicy Eastern twist to your poultry
Ingredients:
5 lb
chicken thighs 120ml soy
sauce 2 T sugar
or honey 3 cloves
crushed garlic 1 tsp five
spice or garam masala 1/4 tsp
black pepper 1/2 tsp
salt 1 T sherry
Directions:
Clean the chicken, rinse in cold water and pat dry.
Take a glass mixing bowl and combine the following ingredients, soy
sauce, sugar, garlic, five spice, pepper, salt and sherry. Pour the Asian sauce mixture over
the chicken pieces, coating them with the sauce. Cover and put the marinated
chicken pieces in your refrigerator for at least 8 hours prior to cooking.
Remove
the chicken and
place it in an oven proof dish. Cook until the meat is golden all over, and cook with the skin facing up.
Cover chicken with marinade and roast at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
